The Reanimation and Intensive Care Unit of Gyumri Medical Center is the only one operating in Shirak region.

The Department is a located in two floor area. It has high tech equipments necessary for monitoring and maintenance of functions needed for patients in critical situation.

					Lung ventilation equipment
					Multifunctional cardiac monitors.

The Hemodialysis Department, laboratories and instrumental examination cabinets are accessible for the activities of Reanimation and Intensive Care Unit.

The input of clinical and organizational protocols of Intensive Care Unit and Diagnostic Clinic is considered to be a key milestone for the staff of the department.

Each year 1000 patients apply for the services of this department.

	Nerve injury
	Acute cerebral circulatory disorders
	Sepsis and multi organ dysfunction
	Nosocomial or out-hospital  pneumonia
	Central nervous system disorders
	Peritonitis, post relaparatomy conditions.

The hospital staff is highly specialized. They cooperate closely with the corresponding departments of leading clinics in Armenia, particularly Erebouni Medical Center and Surb Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center.
