Department of Cardiology
The Department of Cardiology is designed for 50 beds. It also includes the Unit of Intensive Care which is equipped with devices of centralized oxygen therapy and artificial respiration. Here patients receive emergency treatment with following diagnosis:
Acute myocardial infarction | ||||||||
Disorders of heart rhythm (paroxysmal tachycardia attack, paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, 1st and 2nd degree of atrioventricular block) | ||||||||
Acute heart failure (cardial asthma attack, pulmonary edema) | ||||||||
Unstable angina |
The Cardiology Department carries out treatment of patients who moved from Intensive Care Unit with following diagnosis:
1st and 2nd degree of heart failure | ||||||||
3rd and 4th class of angina pectoris | ||||||||
Hypertension | ||||||||
Various Arrhythmias which are not life threatening (extrasystolic arrhythmia, atrial fibrillation). |
Department of Functional Diagnostics of Cardiovascular Disease carries out the following examinations:

The Department implements interventional cardiology service headed by invasive cardiologist Karen Mikayelyan.
